Digital Evidence Collection & Certification

Become proficient in the identification, collection and preservation of digital evidence. The course syllabus will be posted in the near future. Please revise us soon for the details.

Mobile Phone Seizure Certification- v2.0

The original MPSC course has been updated to address the most current technology in mobile devices. Upon completion of this course you will have the opportunity to take the MPSC examination. Obtaining a score of 80% or greater you will be issued the Mobile Phone Seizure V2 Certification.

Computer Forensics on a Shoestring Budget

The computer forensic lab doesn't need to break the bank. With an understanding of file systems, operating systems and hardware you can be up and running with minimal costs.

This training will walk you through the fundamentals of digital forensics and data recovery.

Understanding Cell Tower Validations and Locations

Cell phone towers and how data is received/transmitted is essential when attempting to locate valuable data for your investigation. Details on this course will be posted soon.

Crimes Committed with Handheld Devices-

These training blocks were developed by BKForensics and MI4 for the Bureau of Justice Assistance  for deployment to state and local law enforcement. This training with one of the first virtual trainings offered to law enforcement encompassing the entire range of handheld devices associated with crimes. The training  concluded with an exam and certificate of proficiency. 

Developed almost 10 years ago, the content is still applicable as a foundation of understanding handheld devices and crimes. The training blocks will be re-release and offered for free to all law enforcement. Release date: Late summer 2020. This training will be offered at no cost.
